With Our Team

Technology Director

Prior to joining CAML Academy in 2017, I taught in northeast China for six years, and developed the Computer Science program at an international high school in Changchun. In addition to teaching, I have over 16 years of Unix and Linux systems management experience. I am a North Carolina native, and graduated from Appalachian State University with degrees in Computer Science and Biochemistry.

Pre-school Program Manager

Sasha Harris is an experienced instructor with a Master’s Degree in Education and twelve years of experience inside and outside of classrooms. Sasha Joins CAML Academy after successfully building preschool teacher training and recruitment programs at The Little Schools in Hillsborough and at Duke University. Before tackling that role he taught and designed curriculum for Middle Schools and PreK learning environments.

Founder and CEO

I have been teaching at CAML Academy since it opened its doors in 2015. Prior to working here I was an Engineer and Computer Science College Professor. I love that our mission is to teach K-12 students computer science. The imagination and curiosity of the students at CAML Academy lead me to believe that I am opening new doors and opportunities for them while empowering their formal education.

Graphic Designer

I joined CAML in 2018 and my job is to produce marketing and communications material that represents the value and Brand of our STEM education program and commitment to childhood development. I’m a NC native with a background in art in Visual Communications – graphic design, motion graphic animation, photography and illustration. I am a graduate of both the Art Institute of Atlanta and the Living Arts College. I’m just as happy in the woods as I am in front of a digital canvas.

Teacher and Curriculum Designer

I am a recent graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with degrees in Computer Science and Communications. I have had a lifelong passion for gaming and am very excited to turn that passion into something that can help get future generations interested in STEM. I look forward to working with all the children and really trying to make an impact in their lives through the power of coding. When I am not teaching, I enjoy playing music, creating art, and taking walks with my dog.
